Dr. Susan Wong graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology. She then went on to the University of Waterloo to pursue Optometry. Upon graduation with her Optometry Degree, Dr. Wong returned to Calgary and has been practicing here since. She has been with PlusMa Eyewear and Optometrists since 2012 and continues to welcome new and returning patients for all their eye care needs!
Dr. Karen Pinchak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences through the University of Calgary. She then went on to attend the university of Waterloo School of Optometry and graduated with honors. Dr. Pinchak returned to her hometown of Calgary after graduating. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, snowshoeing, traveling, photography and attending concerts!
Dr. Ravnoor Gill was born and raised in Calgary and completed her first degree at the University of Calgary with a BSc in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her degree in Optometry graduating from the University of Manchester. Upon graduation, Dr. Gill returned home and has been practicing in Calgary ever since with a special interest in Dry Eye Disease.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking, cuddles with her dog, Toby and has recently taken up swimming and skating.
Dr. Anh Bui graduated from the University of Calgary with two Bachelor of Science degrees majoring in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology as well as Zoology. While pursuing her undergraduate degrees, she went on several missionary trips with the Medical Aid for Vietnam Organization, where she discovered her passion for optometry. Thereupon, she continued her academic endeavours and worked alongside anterior segment and retinal ophthalmologists in Pinellas Park, Florida as part of her clinical externships. Dr. Bui graduated with Honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science.
Dr. Bui enjoys practicing full scope optometry with a special interest in Vision Therapy. She looks forward to meeting new and returning patients at PlusMa Eyewear & Optometrists
Dr. Ignacio Salvati received his M.D. from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he is originally from, and earned his spot as an Ophthalmology resident physician at the Churruca Hospital. During his training as an ophthalmologist, he spent the last year as a Chief of residents. Dr. Salvati then decided it was time for a change of the scenery (weather) and moved to Canada. He went on finishing the bridging program at the University of Waterloo with Optometry Degree. In addition to being an optometrist, he has a unique perspective to maintain or restore eye health.
Dr. Salvati is a member of the Calgary History of Medicine Society, with special interest on the history of the optometry and ophthalmology. He has his collection of antique ophthalmic instruments called "The Eye Museum" which is currently exhibited at PlusMa Eyewear & Optometrists
Dr. Salvati is an enthusiastic soccer fan and enjoying family time, travelling and playing soccer!
